John Hughes’ 1986 classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off remains a legendary classic to this day. One that is quoted and referenced constantly. Well word on the street is there is a spinoff in the works at Paramount Pictures called Sam and Victor’s Day Off … you know the 2 carjacking valet’s (who have names by the way, Sam and Victor). Even carjackers need a day off.

No word yet if Matthew Broderick (who played Ferris), Alan Ruck (Cameron), Jennifer Grey (Jeannie), Mia Sara (Sloane Peterson) or Charlie Sheen will make an appearance.

The spinoff will be produced by the same team from Cobra Kai, so that gives this some hope that it’ll be good. Some questions ultimately remains though, do these guys still work in the a parking garage and how good will the soundtrack be!? you have to have good tunes when driving stolen vehicles around Chi-town right!?
