Fleetwood Mac’s album Rumours has been named the best-selling vinyl of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s.

The groundbreaking album from the band, initially launched in 1977, has amassed nearly 280,000 vinyl sales in the current millennium alone. Joining the ranks of top-selling vinyl records are Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side of the Moon,’ Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind,’ and Oasis’s ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’. Meanwhile, Queen’s ‘Greatest Hits,’ a perennial bestseller, secured the fifth spot on the chart for vinyl sales.

The Official Charts Company disclosed the news, coinciding with Cash for Kids Day, by airing tracks from ‘Rumours’ between 1-4 pm on May 2, supporting the campaign against holiday hunger. Additionally, the Official Charts Company generously dedicated this vinyl chart to Greatest Hits Radio station in recognition of their contribution to the cause.
