Massive Snowball Fight to take place at UBC!

That’s the spirit! The snow is here, so why not play in it? Thousands of students, faculty and members of the public will participate in a giant snowball fight at the University of British Columbia today!

Ready, aim…FIRE! Snowballs will fly today at noon!

On the official Facebook Event Page, it reads:

“It’s February and we’ve got snow!! So let’s take advantage and have an amazing, massive, and Oh so Canadian campus-wide snowball fight!

To make it super hype, don’t throw a single snowball until the official countdown at exactly 12:10 and act natural.”

If this is anything like the 2014 version, here’s what to expect:

Participants are asked to meet at Main Mall between Sauder and Chemistry at 11:55 a.m. today. The snowball fight will wrap up at 12:30, when hot chocolate will be served, and students will walk to class with a smile on their faces!
