“Bruce Springsteen was born September 23, 1949, in Freehold, New Jersey, the son of Douglas Springsteen, a bus driver, and Adele (Zirilli) Springsteen, a secretary. He became interested in music after seeing Elvis Presley perform on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1956 and obtained a guitar, but he didn’t start playing seriously until 1963” (billboard.com). The rest, as they say, is history…multi-platinum, multi-million dollar history.

This year marks yet another birthday on the road, but it’s not for what you might think. As he celebrates 67, he is touring across the U.S. for a book signing. This comes with the release of ‘Born To Run,’ an autobiography set to hit shelves September 27th.

After that, he’ll continue touring through Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. with the E. Street Band for the ‘Summer ’17 Tour’.
