High school is tough. Especially for high school junior Nadine (played by Hailee Steinfeld!) when her older brother Darian (Blake Jenner) starts dating her best friend Krista (Haley Lu Richardson). Awkward and alone, Nadine rolls with the punches of high school life until the unexpected friendship with an awkward, thoughtful boy gives her some hope that things may not be so bad.
