Steps for SIDS Walk-a-Thon

Join this year’s Steps for SIDS Walk-a-Thon in loving memory of Azaan Singh Gill who lost his life to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) when he was taking his afternoon nap.

The Walk-a-Thon is to help spread awareness as well as raise funds to help prevent this terrible disease from taking more lives.

SIDS Is a disease that is most susceptible to children between the ages of 0-24 months. Basically, the body just shuts off for no apparent reason without notice. There is currently no known cure to the disease.

All the funds raised at the event will be donated to the Pathology Research Clinic at BC Children’s Hospital to help find a cure.

This is a walk for us to come together as a community and support funding towards a better future for us all.

The walk will take place Sunday, August 19th at North Surrey Secondary School Track in Surrey from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
