Although the world is facing a completely new reality from what we’re accustomed to, Vancouver Pride Society has found a positive and engaging alternative in celebrating our LGBT2Q+ community!

The celebrations will look a little different this year, but that’s what Pride is all about – celebrating our differences.  This year’s events will be online to ensure everyone is safe with proper physical distancing.

JACK 96.9 is proud to be an official partner of this year’s Pride Festival in Vancouver, and is excited to share this new experience with the LGBT2Q+ community!

Pride can’t be cancelled – only re-imagined – which is why the team at Vancouver Pride has been hard at work putting together an amazing line-up of events from all-ages family events to educational opportunities to dance parties.

Pride Festival is on now in Vancouver, the whole city feels like the heart emoji, and we’re here for it! And also there for it *points* And there *points again*. We’re talking more celebration packed into two weeks than even Kool & The Gang could handle.

Check out the full line-up with details below!

TUNING IN…

Unless otherwise noted, every Virtual Event will be live streamed on FacebookYoutube, and Twitch!

Then get together with your chosen family in – Jitsi meet-ups, physically distanced patio parties, or in your home with your pandemic bubble and tune in to watch!

Queer communities have had a whiteness problem for too long. It is not enough to ‘not be racist’ – we need to strive to be anti-racist. Where do we begin? We have curated a free, anti-racist workshop series led by four BIPOC facilitators and one white Jewish facilitator so our communities can learn and grow together.
