June 29th is the anniversary of when Mick Jagger and David Bowie in 1985 casually jumped into Abbey Road Studio and recorded a duet cover of Martha & The Vandellas “Dancing In The Streets” in just 12 hours!

Imagine that conversation when you get home.

FRIEND: “Hi, how was your day?”

ME: “Oh, fine. I met up with Mick Jagger and we banged out a song in 12 hours. It may or may not be good, we’ll see. I’m off to film Labyrinth now.”

Over the next 12 hours, I might take down my Christmas decorations and a help my son find a few Easter eggs that we still have lying around the house. I need to step it up.

Get your dancing shoes on and enjoy a nostalgic flashback featuring two legends.

P.S. Someone actually created a hilarious version of the video with no music and just sound effects. This is a must-watch.
