Calling on rapper Kendrick Lamar for the song’s intro, U2 have released “American Soul”, a stirring, politically charged track that will appear on the highly anticipated album Songs of Experience, set to be released on December 1st, 2017.

Listen for lyrics that touch on current politics topics, for instance when Bono sings “Let it be unity/ Let it be community/ For refugees like you and me/ A country to receive us/ Will you be our sanctuary?”

Take a listen and tell us what you think!
