The classic Guns n’ Roses album Appetite For Destruction turns 30 and we will never forget that it was the album that gave us the rock anthem “Welcome To The Jungle”. It’s one of the greatest hard rock songs ever and is a song we will still love when we are 87 years old. But maybe when we get older we’ll prefer it a bit more slowed down, perhaps in a vintage jazz style? Luckily for everyone, this vintage “Welcome To The Jungle” cover exists.

Performed by the extremely talented Postmodern Jukebox, this interpretation features Daniela Andrade on vocals and an instrument I never thought I’d hear in relation to “Welcome To The Jungle”… a harp!!! The world needs more harp.

It’s definitely not the only “Welcome To The Jungle” cover on YouTube. This version by 2CELLOS is also amazing (and has over 21 million views!) And how about this 6 year-old and his drum cover?!? Or “Welcome To The Jungle” performed with traditional Japanese instruments?!

Any way you cover it, it’s a classic song. Which cover version of “Welcome To The Jungle” is your favourite?

PS JACK will have your chance at tickets to the September 1st GnR “Not in this Lifetime Tour” all day Friday July 21st!
