The holiday movie you watch religiously every time the season comes, is getting a sequel…’Love Actually 2′!

In the spirit of honesty, it won’t be a true sequel to the original, but more like a 10 minute short to see where our favourite characters would be today. The one-off will be called ‘Red Nose Day Actually’, which is being made in aid of the charity ‘Comic Relief’.

In a press statement, director Richard Curtis said, “I would never have dreamt of writing a sequel to Love Actually, but I thought it might be fun to do 10 minutes to see what everyone is now up to,” said Curtis.

“Who has aged best? – I guess that’s the big question… or is it so obviously Liam?” Curtis furthered.

So far, the following original cast members have signed on: Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Colin Firth, Lucia Moniz, Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Bill Nighy, Marcus Brigstocke, and Rowan Atkinson. Emma Thompson has not agreed to the sequel, and her on-screen husband, Alan Rickman, tragically passed away last year.
