Apple Music has picked up James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment from ‘The Late Late Show’, and the first trailer is jam-packed with mega stars like Metallica, Will Smith, Seth MacFarlane, and Shaquille O’Neal!

Although Apple Music’s version of ‘Carpool Karaoke’ will come from the creators and executive producers of James Corden’s show, it won’t be exactly the same. Some key distinctions include the fact that ‘The Late Late Show’ host may not be in every episode. For the most part, celebrity pairings will make up the bulk of the show, like Chelsea Handler and Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande and Seth MacFarlane, and John Cena and Shaquille O’Neal.

Another differentiator is that the Apple Music version of the segment doesn’t stay within the confines of the car. For instance, John Legend will be featured with a gospel choir in a laundromat and Metallica will sing ‘Enter Sandman’ in a grocery store.

It’s not precisely the ‘Carpool Karaoke’ we know and love, but it does look pretty darn good!

We do know this will be a weekly feature with 16 celebrity pairings, but you’ll have to stay tuned for a release date!
