Myers no longer lives in the country, and has resided in the United Stated for quite some time, which has allowed him to really clarify what it means to be Canadian. Admittedly, it is a book based solely on his own opinion, but he does cover topics such as being overly polite, our ‘very thick’ accents, hockey, etc.

Myers recently sat down with Wendy Mesley of the CBC for this candid interview, saying “you can take the boy out of Canada, but you can’t take Canada out of the boy!’ Take a look:

‘Canada’ is “part memoir, part history and pure entertainment,” says Penguin Random House Canada.

Sadly, Vancouver did not make the list for book tour stops, however, you can still tell the comedian your Canadian story:

“Some might say, ‘Why didn’t you include this or that?’ I say there are 35 million stories waiting to be told in this country, and my book is only one of them.” You can share your story with Mike using the hashtag #MikesCanada.
