Is there a bigger compliment, if one of history’s greatest rock bands says you sound just like them? This young band from Detroit have a killer sound, and according to one Robert Plant may even be Led Zeppelin I!

In a recent interview, Plant’s asked if there are any up and comers that he’s got his eye on, and he answers with a cheeky quip “There’s a band in Detroit called Greta Van Fleet, they are Led Zeppelin I. Beautiful little singer, I hate him!” He carries on by saying, “He borrowed [his voice] from somebody I know very well, but what are you going to do? At least he’s got a bit of style, because he’s said he based his whole style off Aerosmith,” Plant said with an eye roll.
