In 2016 Pearl Jam played to sold out crowds in Eddie Vedder’s hometown of Chicago, combining the world of sports and music while the Chicago Cubs worked to break their 108-season drought. The documentary film and accompanying soundtrack will be called “Let’s Play Two” and showcases the band’s catalogue of songs and covers, spanning 25 years of music.

David Clinch has captured the footage and said in a statement, “In my films and photographs, I love to explore the relationship between a band, their fans and the location.” In this instance, the movie will explore the special relationship between Pearl Jam, the Chicago Cubs, all of the fans and Wrigley Field.

The trailer for the film has been released, and it looks pretty epic!

The documentary and soundtrack will be released at the end of September 2017;  there will be a “Let’s Play Two” CD and 2-LP vinyl releases along with a booklet of photos and director notes from Danny Clinch.
