Most of us woke up to the sad news that Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave singer Chris Cornell has past away at the age of 52. For fans of the Grunge era and rock music in general, this is a massive loss. Chris was one of the most powerful vocalists in music, which was evident not just with his acclaimed work in three iconic bands but almost every time he ever stepped in front of a microphone. His acoustic covers are legendary and his voice was the definition of spine tingling.

In honour of the legendary vocalist, we put together a list of 6 incredible Chris Cornell performances that serve as a reminder that we have indeed lost another legend in his own right.

RIP Chris.
