Hundreds of people came together to sing a haunting and beautiful rendition of a David Bowie classic.

Choir! Choir! Choir! sing Space Oddity

Choir! Choir! Choir! was started by Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman as a weekly drop in, no-commitment singing event in 2011. When David Bowie passed away in January 2016, the group pulled together 500 people to pay tribute, by singing a passionate rendition of the late star’s ‘Space Oddity’.

What results is a simultaneously haunting, passionate, and downright stunning version of the song.

Take a listen (you won’t regret it):

In the time since, Choir! Choir! Choir! have also performed ‘When Doves Cry’ for Prince, Lionel Richie’s ‘Hello’, and Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’. The group is currently on tour, traveling throughout Canada and the US and you can drop in any time you’re in Toronto (no audition or reading music required)!.
