Why are people calling Aerosmith "washed up?"

Well it certainly isn’t in relation to their talent because they ROCKED Fort MacMurray last night despite an absolute barrage of rain (see where they get the washed up bit? Makes so much sense now doesn’t it). We talked with morning show host Pete Potipcoe from our sister station in Fort Mac to see how the crowd handled the rain.
